Sheree Parker
Sheree Parker is considered a 21st century version of Superman by some of her colleagues. Morphing from wife/mother who enjoys both jet-skiing and baking, to Taylor and Walker’s go-to Information Technology person is natural for her.
Sheree’s reputation for not ever giving up on a problem has served her well in the ten years she has been with Taylor and Walker. As the technology requirements for a modern law firm advanced, so did the need to have an on-site person dedicated to keeping things running smoothly. Though her career began in the accounting department, her aptitude for things technical had been evident early on. After high school graduation, Sheree attended business college and was attracted to courses like statistics and computer programming. Given a chance to be the full time IT person at Taylor and Walker, she soon excelled.
With an attitude of finding a solution to every problem and not giving up until the project is complete and running smoothly, she is an invaluable member of the support staff. Working side by side with outside specialists, Sheree’s quick grasp of things technical has helped her with major projects like the recent move and expansion of the Richmond office. Several 24 hour days were spent in implementation of that project.
Tireless when it comes to work, she puts the same energy into her family. Mother to her young teenage daughter and seven year old son, Sheree and her husband enjoy spending time with family. Both her family and her husband’s live in the near vicinity. Born the third girl in her family, she became the expert baker in the family, specializing in producing delicacies from her Filipino heritage.
Whether baking or installing complex computer systems, Sheree Parker may not wear a cape, but she brings to both jobs a dedication that would make Superman proud.
