John Franklin is a shareholder of the firm and is a trial attorney whose career spans more than 37 years. He is an experienced litigator with an extensive state and federal practice covering all aspects of litigation including mediation, and almost every field of insurance defense with primary concentration in Professional Liability and Construction Law. Over the course of his career, he has defended hospitals, physicians, nurses, long-term care facilities, architects, engineers, contractors, lawyers, and accountants. He has tried numerous cases to both judges and juries. His litigation practice involves primarily the fields of Professional Liability, Construction Law, Contract Disputes, Intellectual Property, and defense of Fair Housing and Americans with Disabilities Act litigation. He is listed in Virginia Super Lawyers,The Best Lawyers in America, Virginia Business Legal Elite, and is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.
